Dr. Chase Bennett, DDS, DABCP-CDSM
Chase Bennett graduated from the University of Oklahoma School of Dentistry with special distinction. Under the direction of its distinguished program founder, Dr. Noshir Mehta, Dr. Bennett completed an externship at the renowned Craniofacial Pain Center at Tufts University School of Dentistry in both Dental Sleep Medicine and Craniofacial Pain, the first of its kind. Dr. Bennett was the youngest dentist to have achieved Diplomate status in the fields of Dental Sleep Medicine and Craniofacial Pain. Currently, Dr. Chase Bennett lectures internationally and is involved in various research projects on the topics of Dental Sleep Medicine and Craniofacial Pain while being lead clinical adviser for multiple new Oral Appliances to treat Obstructive Sleep Apnea and Snoring. Along with developing Apnea & Breathing Clinic in San Diego, he is also the Director of the Craniofacial Pain Center Of Colorado and treats patients in the United Arab Emirates suffering from Sleep Breathing Disorders.

Amanda Pompeo, RDA, CTA
Amanda was born and raised in Palm Springs, CA. In 2002, she began her journey into the field of TMJ Disorders and Dental Sleep Medicine, at a practice in Rancho Mirage, CA. In 2004, Amanda became a Certified Sleep Assistant through the Academy of Clinical Sleep Disorders Dentistry; and in 2006 a Certified TMJ Assistant (CTA) through the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain and Registered Dental Assistant (RDA). She has accumulated 250+ hours of continuing education in the field of TMJ Disorders and Dental Sleep Medicine.
Amanda is our Director of Operations and clinical assistant. She focuses her time building relationships with the medical community and in the office providing exceptional patient care.
Amanda lives in Poway. Her hobbies include interior design, hiking, going to the beach and LEGOLAND with her children.

Sonnie Bocala-Apex Dental Sleep Lab
Sonnie Bocola was born into a family with five generations of 16 Dentists, so it wasn’t a surprise when he decided to pursue the same career path. He graduated from San Diego State University in 2004 with a BS in Cellular Molecular Micro Biology. While awaiting acceptance to dental school he began working for a private practice as a dental assistant. Very quickly Sonnie found his passion in the dental lab side of the industry and assumed the position as Director of International Lab Certification for TMJ and Sleep Research International from 2004-2016. He opened T & S Dental Lab, which he owned and operated from 2006-2016. This is where he began his journey that has led him to where he is today; having lectured internationally on TMJ, Sleep Therapy and oral appliance designs, and trained and certified international dental labs on the fabrication of TMJ orthotics. Currently, Sonnie is the President and owner of Apex Dental Sleep Lab, President of Sketchpad Innovations, Developer and Patent holder of Kava Mandibular Advancement device and a manufacturing consultant to Oravan OSA.
When Sonnie isn’t working, you will find him spending time with his beautiful wife Janelle and daughter Brooklyn, who is 6 years old. His hobbies include motorcycle racing and spearfishing
Weaster Chhun- CTW Consulting
Weaster Chhun has over 15 years of marketing experience. He started in sleep medicine in 2009 working with a durable medical equipment company that specialized in CPAP therapy. During this time he helped create a network of physicians, sleep medicine specialists and providers. Within his network, he has developed and promoted sleep medicine treatment programs throughout Southern California. Understanding the different view points from DME, Sleep Centers, Sleep Physicians, and Sleep Dentists has helped bridge the gap between all providers.
In 2012 he assisted in launching one of the first medical billing companies for sleep dentists, Dental Billing Sleep Solutions. His passion for marketing and developing an “out of the box” approach has helped Weaster create his own company CTW Consulting & Marketing. He continues bring providers together to provide an optimum treatment to patients with sleep apnea.
Weaster lives in San Diego and is married with 3 children. He spends his time off wishing he was golfing, but realizes he’s married with 3 kids.
Dr. Terry Bennett, DMD- AACP Institute Director/Director Tulsa TMJ Orofacial & Sleep Clinic
Dr. Terry Bennett graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 1977. He is entering his 40th year of private practice with the last 27 being in a practice limited to the treatment of Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction and Sleep Apnea. He is a member of several organizations and hold certifications in many of these. He has been extremely active in the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain (AACP) serving on the board of directors over a decade, in addition to serving as Program Chair for 4 years and President for 2 years. Currently he is the AACP Institute Director of Education. This position entails organizing and providing education associated with the treatment of TMD and Dental Sleep Medicine. Among the many certifications he has attained are DABCP (Diplomate American Board of Craniofacial Pain), DABCDSM (Diplomate American Board of Craniofacial Dental Sleep Medicine), DABDSM (Diplomate American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine, DAAPM (Diplomate American Academy of Pain Management). Currently he divides his time between his private practice and lecturing for the AACP, Dental Schools and other organizations.
